We are a non-profit, volunteer based organisation committed to the prevention of drowning and injury at Milnerton Beach and the wider area.
Milnerton Surf Lifesaving Club patrol the local beach from September through to March conducting patrols on Saturdays and Sundays, with lifeguards also on duty daily over the summer school holiday period.
We have an active membership of junior (7-13 years) and senior members (14 years +) and offer safety and fitness training, competitive surf sports and camaraderie to all our members.
We welcome new members so if you have an interest in sport, life guarding or meeting new people we have a niche for you.
As surf lifesavers, our MISSION is to promote beach safety awareness and professional lifeguard standards through public education, training programs, exchange programs, junior lifeguard programs, competition and other means. The ultimate goal is to prevent and reduce aquatic injuries, accidents and death at our beach.
To save lives, create great South Africans and build better communities.
